• Area Production Manager
Responsible for managing salaried supervisors to direct the hourly workforce. Completes the production schedule within all manufacturing parameters. Implements and enforces continuous improvement processes in the manufacturing environment under supervision. Enforces full and continuous compliance with all environmental, health and safety requirements.
The ideal candidate should possess a BS in Engineering or a related technical field, 10 years of production management experience and a solid track record of successful shop floor leadership/change management. A working knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean or other advanced organizational work methodologies is a plus. We are looking for an innovative and dedicated person to join our team. Paper experience and press operations experience strongly desired.
• Indirect Buyer
You will be responsible for sourcing quotes for goods and services for indirect materials to support the departmental areas of packaging, IT, legal, finance and travel. Will obtain vendors that will provide superior customer service at the lowest cost for goods or services requested. Will maintain vendor relationships, monitor supplier compliance against original commitments and interface with business partners regarding shortfalls on performance. Will proactively identify cost savings opportunities and work to pursue those savings.
To qualify, you must have a bachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in an indirect purchasing/procurement role. Thorough knowledge and expertise in contract management. Thorough knowledge of all indirect purchasing principles and practices. Experience with automated Purchasing systems required as well as proficiency in MS Office. Ability to exercise discretion with highly confidential information. Must exhibit strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to proactively and effectively communicate to various levels of management. Must have strong interpersonal skills that foster collaboration within team, with business partners and with cross-functional teams. Results oriented with the ability to achieve goals. Ability to conceptualize new ideas and solutions, seek existing solutions or best practices and translate them into effective programs.
• IT Communications Manager
This position will be responsible for the Formica Group global voice, data, and mobile wireless environment. The primary responsibilities of this position are centered on managing the Cisco voice and telecommunications environments for Formica globally. Additional responsibilities include network architecture/design of the router, switch, wireless, firewall, voice over IP, and mobile environments. Troubleshooting network protocol and routing issues within this global infrastructure to resolve business systems issues. Provide proficient technical support in the areas of network engineering, administration, installation, configuration management, security, and performance tuning. Team with the Infrastructure staff to provide daily support of ongoing projects. Manage the consolidation of global architecture and vendors to the standard Formica design. Manage the deployment of Cisco VoIP to all locations within Formica. Recommend and manage mobile (cellular) carrier relationships for Formica Group. Provide Level 3 support over the global voice/data/mobile network infrastructures.
Successful candidates will have a BS/BA in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, or related fields, or an equivalent combination of education and applicable professional experience. CCVP certification is a desired. Extensive experience architecting and supporting PSTN and VoIP networks and architecting MPLS, Frame Relay, T1, and DS3 networks utilizing BGP and EIGRP routing. 5+ years of architecture, design, and troubleshooting Cisco switches, routers, wireless, firewalls, VPN systems, and voice over IP solutions. Working experience with designing WAN and LAN networks for both domestic and international locations, including perimeter and LAN based security for those sites, is a requirement. Working experience with Cisco Call Manager, Unity Voicemail, and Contact Center is required. Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS is a plus.
• Business Process Analyst / Programmer
You’ll function as a team leader and project manager for large and intermediate scale projects, focused but not limited to the financial area. Primarily, you’ll propose best practice recommendations to streamline inefficient systems. The goal is to support the financial business area (and others as needed) in the design and implementation of process improvement projects. You will, in this position, combine functional knowledge and systems understanding to lead process improvement projects, from initiation to implementation, primarily but not limited to the financial area. Responsibilities include working closely with your assigned business groups in understanding and implementing more efficient business processes and following a Project Management Methodology i.e. determining and tracking project budgets; negotiating vendor contracts; managing contract resources; and working with internal resources to ensure effective project completion. In addition you may be responsible for the design, creation and/or modification, testing and maintenance of application programs.
Qualifications:
3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment, with ERP systems background, preferably but not limited to BPCS.
3-5 year’s hands-on experience with the following AS400/iSeries productivity toolsets – Query, SQL, RPGIII, and ILE RPG. Knowledge of HTML would also be desirable.
Systems implementation experience a plus, preferably but not limited to BPCS
BS in Computer Science, Business or Finance is required. Must have financial or IT background.
Must have 5 years Business Analysis experience managing business process improvement projects with process redesign and system development content.
Must have SDLC knowledge and knowledge of structured process improvement and operational problem solving methodologies with financial business processes (Procure-to-pay, record-to-report, etc.)
Industry certifications (APICS, PMP, etc.) are a plus, so is knowledge of financial management tools such as Hyperion Financial Management.
Project management skills, interpersonal and written communication skills and effective planning skills will also be required.
Must be able to handle multiple projects, and work in a dynamic fast paced team environment.
Proven track record of strong pro-management work habits and must demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must be self-motivated, able to work independently yet within Corporate IT and regulatory guidelines, as necessary, and be able to meet mission-critical deadlines as necessary to support company’s overall performance objectives.
• Senior Business Process Analyst
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include determining and tracking project budgets; negotiating vendor contracts; managing contract resources; and working with internal resources to ensure effective project completion.
Qualifications:
5-7 years experience in Supply Chain, with ERP systems background, preferably BPCS or ERPLX.
Systems implementation experience a plus, preferably but not limited to BPCS or ERPLX

• Process Engineer
Responsibilities include analyzing manufacturing equipment and processes for ways to improve performance. We’ll also rely on you to lead Equipment / System modifications, Process & Continuous improvement teams, as well as large capital projects.
Requirements include 3 to 5 years experience in process improvement/operational excellence project roles within the manufacturing sector. Candidates must have a degree in a technical field, preferably Engineering or Engineering Technology. Demonstrated training and proficiency in statistical problem solving methodology and tools is required. Six Sigma Black Belt preferred. Proven experience of the successful implementation of continuous improvement manufacturing programs using advanced techniques is also a must.
• Business Analyst/Java Developer
Responsibilities:
You’ll function as the lead Java resource for the Company, by providing the full Software Development Life Cycle for small to intermediate projects, including the design and implementation of purchased software. You will also function as a business analyst for small and intermediate size projects including the supervision of external contract resources, managing timelines and project budgets, and assuring the quality of implemented systems. You will have the opportunity to learn and understand the Formica business processes in many functional areas of the company as you are involved in project and support work, and you will be responsible for maintaining a positive working relationship with not only the user community but vendors, suppliers and other global Formica team members.
Qualifications:
3-5 years experience in the following tools and technologies: Java 5.x, JSP, HTML/CSS/Javascript including Ajax and DOM4 in a multi-browser environment, msSQL Application Administration including inserting tables, creating views and stored procedures.
2-5 years experience in Apache 2.2 / Tomcat 6.0 including deployment of WAR files without using ant, starting and stopping services and programming in a redundant hosted environment.
Experience with Struts 1.X and Hibernate
Experience developing in an Eclipse base environment
MQ Architecture experience strongly desired
IBM i operating system exposure strongly desired
Strong interpersonal skills working with all levels of users within the Company, and with customers and vendors external to the Company.
Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a dynamic fast paced team environment
